Algarve Chimneys.

My Aunt, who lives in Portugal, has been staying for the last few days.
She's retired, but she makes and sells greetings cards. She's asked me to do some original drawings/paintings of Portuguese chimneys for her to use on the cards :)

Some ideas so far:

Wilkin & Sons.

It took me a couple of days, but I've finally chosen only 3 pieces to send to the Managing Director at Wilkin & Sons.
I chose these three particular pieces because they show the range of work I can do in different media...handmade, computer based layouts, illustration, use of colour, packaging and working from my own imagination as well as from preconceived designs.

Commission.

I just got an email from the Managing Director at Wilkin & Sons (Tiptree Jam) asking for three images of creative work I'm really proud of as they sometimes use freelance designers and may be able to give me some work :)

Exciting stuff, just need to decide what to choose!

Bartlett School of Architecture Invitation.

So this is what I've come up with for the invitation I was commissioned to design:

I created a logo of sorts for the heading. I printed the letters and drew building fronts in the spaces.

I also drew the building that houses the Bartlett School of Advertising.

I couldn't decide which variation I liked best (although it might be the second one) so I sent off all three for review:

I had to include the same information as the original, just changing the invite text and removing the other sponsor's logo. It also had to be in the Adrem colour scheme, which is this yellow, black, white and green. I'm already aware of green flyers that are handed out advertising gallery space (I'm aware of this because my first task as a volunteer was to go around East London handing these out!) so I thought the yellow would be better. It definitely needed some colour on it so it was different to the one UCL will be handing out.

Logo.

So a while ago I made this logo for my dad's company.

It's used on a large variety of in house products, such as mugs, pens, keyrings etc.
I've made my dad bring me home one of everything and anything that has the logo on.
I get a great sense of pride knowing people are using things with my logo on throughout the company everyday :D

Turns out the logo is now being used in their offices.
In huge lettering on the wall.
Where EVERYONE can see it.
How amazing is that?!
