Photography Competition.

I just entered three photographs in The Weekend Project on Digital Photographer with the subject of 'Wild'.

They're photos I've entered in competitions before and not won, but this was just a quick little comp so I figured I might as well go for it!

Plus I'm stuck at home because I had a little accident whilst running the other day and now can barely walk :S

Blog Feature.

The lovely colorful-balloons has posted about me on their blog (here) :)

Such kind words, and some really kind comments from their followers (although I did have to use Google Translate to work out what they said as they're in Romanian!)

I particularly like one comment which says "flower art flows from her hands". Isn't that just wonderful? I may have to use that in my description!

So thank you so, so much to Balloons. They're always commenting on my posts with such nice words :)

Algarve Chimneys.

My Aunt, who lives in Portugal, has been staying for the last few days.

She's retired, but she makes and sells greetings cards. She's asked me to do some original drawings/paintings of Portuguese chimneys for her to use on the cards :)

Some ideas so far:

Pencil Sculptures.

I found these on tumblr so I don't know the original source, but I think these lead sculptures are just amazing! Such an intricate level of detail on something so small.

Mailer.

I started working on my mailer yesterday by painting the lolly sticks :)

UPDATE

The first set of mailers are now complete :)

I've only made 1o for now, I need to get some more paint before making anymore, and I want to see if I have any luck from sending this first batch out.
