My brother is getting married in September and his fiance has asked me to make cake pops for their wedding reception. She doesn't really know what she wants so I've been trying out some ideas.
Some of them definitely work better than others. I'm going to retry with the ones I like best so I can see what they look like with lots of the same design. We're hoping to get some long rectangular white plates so we can line them all up.
I took these into work and they were very popular!

THE POETIC PHOTOGRAPHY COLLECTION.
I am honoured to have been asked to be featured in a permanent online exhibition called THE POETIC PHOTOGRAPHY COLLECTION. My photograph 'Airplane' was selected to be included.
There's an amazing group of other photographers included so it's definitely worth a look!

Internship.
I went for an interview last week for a Graphic Design and Illustration internship, which would be working with two companies. One of these sells nail art products, and the other is like Amazon for London market sellers. It went really well, and if I can negotiate working part time at work I would love to be able to do it two days a week. To see how I work and how we get on discussing ideas, I was set a couple of tasks.
One of these was to design a nail art plate. This was the example they gave me:
I was designing for a 'Frenchie' themed nail art plate, so basically designing french manicure tips. This is what I came up with:

The final outcome
Took me forever to turn these from initial sketches to drawing them on Illustrator - I'm still quite new to the programme and I've pretty much taught myself how to use it. But I'm very happy with what I came up with.
Task 2 was to go to a London market and take a few photos with the intention of creating a postcard to advertise the website where the market sellers show their work. I went to Portobello road, on a Monday, which was perhaps not the best idea because there wasn't much there but I still have a few ideas. I've sent the first photo off:
