Something else I've been working on this weekend is making my logo (the ink creation in my banner) using handmade techniques, so collage and sewing. It's a lot more fiddly than I thought, but it's coming along nicely :)
I tried to match the areas of colour to that of the original, ink logo.
I tried to sew over the tracing paper to get the design exact without having to draw on the fabric, but it didn't rip off very well so I gave up with that idea after doing the H!
This is how it currently looks. I'm going to use a satin stitch to fill the solid areas of black in.

ReplyDeleteThanks you :) I've started the satin stitch this morning. I've done 2 little sections so far but it's taken me absolutely ages!! Haha might be a long time until it's finished :S
